On January 1, 2022 the federally mandated No Surprises Act went into effect. The intention of this Act, as it pertains to our practice, is to prevent surprise billing and surprise balance billing, and to increase transparency on provider pricing for those who are uninsured or opt to not use their insurance (self-pay).
